Mother’s Day Luncheon May 9th

The men of the church will be cooking up something yummy on Sunday, May 9th, to honor all the moms at Emmaus.
The menu will be grilled salmon, chicken, potato salad, and green salad.  A head count is needed to insure there is plenty of food.  If you and your family would like to attend, please e-mail Pastor Mike at heymikedean@gmail.com.  There is no cost for the meal, and everything is provided.
Also, if you would like to help with this effort, please let Mike know that as well.
This luncheon will replace our monthly potluck luncheon, so there will be no potluck on May 16th.

Are you ready to take a break away from your busy life for a time of renewal? Life’s not easy, but it’s do-able when you take time to renew.  Renew your life, renew your mind, renew your relationships.

Gifted musician and special guest speaker, Renee Martin will share with us the gift of God’s grace through music, testimony and teaching.  Her desire is that others may know how significant they are to God, that He loves them and has a definite purpose for their lives.

Several of us attended last year’s retreat which hosted guest speaker Donna Partow.  We highly recommend that you put this year’s retreat on your calendar.  The tranquil setting of the campground, the fellowship of women and the time of worship and teaching are just what you’ve been needing. You will come away refreshed and challenged in your walk with God.

Women of Emmaus, please join us for our fall retreat September 25-27th at Huntington Ridge Retreat just outside of Winchester. This retreat is for teens through seniors!
Registration is going on now!
Cost for entire retreat: $135 ($50 registration fee, $85 due at retreat) Cost for part-time attendance: $50 registration fee, and $26 per night’s lodging, $6 – breakfast, $6 – lunch, $10 dinner (due at retreat).
