Help with VBS!!!
Posted by viqui - 21/04/10 at 06:04:04 pmRegister yourself to help out with our High Seas Adventure (VBS)! Register as a Volunteer Online.
If you have helped with VBS in the past, you know how much fun it is. It is one of those activities that is a lot of work and effort, but always seems to leave a lasting impression. What a great time to leave a “lasting impression” in a child’s mind! Many seeds are planted during VBS and you can be a part of it!!
We are holding our 3rd annual VBS 6/21-6/25 in the evening from 6:00-8:45 (although helpers should plan on 5:45-9:00)
We are in need of Crew Leaders (male/female adults and teens 15 years or older) and assistant Crew Leaders (teens 12-14).
What are Crew Leaders and assistants?
During High Seas Expedition, you’ll visit different stations with a group of three to five kids. You’re not in charge of preparing or teaching activities; you just get to be there and help kids enjoy them as you shepherd the members of your Crew.
The following guidelines will help you be an awesome Crew Leader.
A Crew Leader is
• a friend and a helper,
• someone who knows and calls kids by name,
• someone who offers kids choices,
• someone who asks questions,
• someone who encourages kids, and
• someone who supports Station Leaders.
Please register at

We have other positions to fill as well, if you feel like you can be used in other ways. Mark your calendars for decorating on Sunday June 20th!!!!!

Ladies’ Breakaway Retreat
Posted by Jeanne - 05/02/10 at 12:02:30 amMarch 12-13, 2010 at Rhodes Grove Campground in Chambersburg, PA
Are you ready to take a break away from your busy life for a time of renewal? Life’s not easy, but it’s do-able when you take time to renew. Renew your life, renew your mind, renew your relationships.
Gifted musician and special guest speaker, Renee Martin will share with us the gift of God’s grace through music, testimony and teaching. Her desire is that others may know how significant they are to God, that He loves them and has a definite purpose for their lives.
Several of us attended last year’s retreat which hosted guest speaker Donna Partow. We highly recommend that you put this year’s retreat on your calendar. The tranquil setting of the campground, the fellowship of women and the time of worship and teaching are just what you’ve been needing. You will come away refreshed and challenged in your walk with God.
If you would like more information, please contact me.
All things beautiful,

Stay warm!
Sunday’s Video
Posted by calebnei - 19/11/09 at 11:11:00 pmOn Sunday Pastor Mike was sick so we showed a video by David Barton on the faith of America’s Founding Fathers. It’s a great time to watch this given the topic of our annual drama.
For those of you who didn’t get to watch it or want to see it again here it is:
